Patio season is the perfect time to have bottomless brunch, enjoy a romantic dinner al fresco, a happy hour with coworkers or a cup of joe to lift the spirits. To help make the decision process easier, I put together a list of patios you can’t skip on this season.

Located in Lakeview, Barcocina has become a crowd favorite, with their modern and delicious take on Mexican food. Expect to see crowds lining out the door to enjoy sitting and socializing by one of the firepits. One of the menu highlights is bottomless brunch on the weekends for $39.95 a person. I already have reservations! Who could pass on that deal? So bring your sunglasses and appetite and enjoy brunch at Barcocina.

The outdoor patio area of Parson’s reminds me of a local hangout at a small town where everyone gathers after a long day of work. A true food treasure in Logan Square, Parson’s is best enjoyed in the afternoon or evening, but be prepared to wait. This place is always popping, maybe it has to do with the chill atmosphere, fun cocktails a hip tunes. I am already in love! Did I mention fried chicken, texas toast, cheese curd fritters and oysters. I am ready to line up outside Parson’s.
